What if you make the wrong choice?
We have probably all known a co-worker that everyone thought would be an amazing addition to the company we work for. They interview incredibly well, come in with a ton of enthusiasm, only to fall flat, and not actually follow through with what they said they would do. Certainly, not what the person interviewing them ever thought when they hired them.
What if that same thing happens when you hire an agent? What if they have a great presentation and then don’t perform? You FIRE them, right? Well, it’s not always that easy. You have signed an agreement, and may be locked in.
What does that even mean?
What does that mean? It means that if you fire the agent, they can take the home off the market and keep you from hiring another agent to sell it for the term of the contract. If you are unhappy after two weeks, you may have to wait another 24 or 50 weeks to sell YOUR home with someone else. That’s is terrible.
